Yeah I agree with Teresa, rotation is important when placing trees to make it look more realistic even though the bottom line is that we are tricking the player by reusing the exact same tree, something that doesn't happen in real life.
THERE ARE SO MANY TREES! I think you should have different trees instead of the same one over and over. I really like your houses! You should also have a border so that the player is trapped in the play area and not roaming where they shouldn't be. XD
Also, if you map your uvs out on your tree it will make a huge different. There is a lot of stretching that I see on it. I had to do this with all of my LODs.
Lots of trees! If you turn on the rotate random z on the brush settings they won't look as similar. I love how it's coming along.

ReplyDeleteI like the shape of the houses you made. They really have a forest feel to them it'll be great once you have some textures on them.
