Hillside International Circuit WIP - Midterm Update
Let me start by saying that nothing has gone right during the development of this. Nothing looks like it should, the models are drastically oversized/undersized, and the textures are stretched to the nth degree. I shouldn't even be showing this, it's utterly abysmal.
I like how this is coming along--you have really conveyed what you wanted. The inside of the track is looking great. I love the way the seats look so far. Once everything is fixed, I'm sure this will be a great portfolio piece.
I understand your frustrations, everything has been screwing up for my scene. It has a lot of potential just needs to be finished. Just keep messing with the textures with scale in either Photoshop or Max. Try to add in the road and finish the models.
I really like the inside of the track you have it looks really good. your textures don't really look that bad they just need to be scaled to fit your models a little better but once that's done this piece will be amazing
NO NEGATIVITY! You cannot sell your art with negativity. From what I can tell, it looks like you just need to put the road in and add a little more detail.
you have a lot built and the stands are coming together don't get discouraged. I understand it's frustrating to work on new subject matter while caring about how the project looks in the end. Great job Josh.

ReplyDeleteThe terrain is really good and the modelling is accurate and realistic. Don't beat yourself up about it, just keep working on it. =)
