Joshua Morrison's Concept World

  1. This concept rocks. I love the mellowed blues in here. With everything, I think that adding trees isn't needed. This is beautiful in itself.

  2. This looks great! the building suspended above the town is very ominous and full of mystery.

  3. This concept is really nice, the overall feel of the concept really comes through. I'm wondering a bit about the large structure in the back is it separated by a tall wall or is that a road?

  4. The concept is awesome, as well as this piece specifically. I agree with Teresa, tree's aren't necessary and might possibly detract. Some close ups on the buildings would be great to get an idea of what they look like.

  5. Love this a lot. Great job on the painting for such short notice. The mountains are amazing and the shading is great. The architecture is outstanding, it reminds me of the underground village of onu-koro from the Bionicle world. The man on the cliff is well done and the effect of the smoke on the campsite is amazing. It has an amazing feel all together and the lighting is beautiful.

  6. I like how you incorporated everything together. Can get a sense of the atmosphere which helps involve a person. The only thing I could say to do is add some forests like you said which seems like you might want evergreen forests. Also might wanna do some specific art for the buildings.

  7. This is very pretty with the snow and mountains! You should have a map of the town and some sketches of the houses for details.
