If you are going to use a blog you should start posting blog posts! :D I would not have pages in there that does not have anything in it because the portfolio should be finalized. I would have the Contact tab near the home and not in the middle of the tabs.
I love your high poly so far. I can't wait to see when you have it textured. When your portfolio is completely finished, I think it will look great. It is really well laid out right now.
Your sites layout is simple enough to navigate without any issues. I like the details that you've sculpted into your high-poly. You shouldn't have too much trouble sculpting good details into the face with your skills. If you work on the face and texture it (if you went through all the trouble to make UVs for it, you might as well), it could definitely be a really good portfolio piece.
