Character Progress - Head




I tried a multitude of different ways to build the head this weekend. That can be attributed to the lack of progress. The method I settled on was to outline the head via a line, extrude along that line to get the first row of poly's, then start extruding edges to shape the features of the face. This was the method that worked the best. Overall, I like head modeling about as much as I like NURBS (I think NURBS are the one true enemy of the world).

  2. It is coming out fine. The thing about this method is that it is a meticulous, detail oriented one. But at least if you continue with it this way, it should come out looking great!
