Looks good. The smoothing groups should be averaged though. If you're in max, select all the faces in polygon select mode, then scroll down in the left sidebar until you find the smoothing groups. Click [reset] then click [1].
The anatomy for your character is coming out very nicely. In class, it was mentioned that the clothing should be a separate mesh, so that will be interesting for a character with such tight clothing.

ReplyDeleteVery good start. Smooth out the mesh as Aim said, and start working on the face.
