Person!



I am really happy so far. I have ears, hands, and feet! These were my worst nightmares! I am going to start working on the uvs, then import the man into Zbrush!

Work So Far



Character Update 7-26





So yay! I'm now only abou two weeks behind! Here is a VERY WIP of my base mesh. Still very rough. Going to have the head and clothing modeled by the end of the week and have it in zBrush this weekend.



Here is what I have this week I baked out normals and an ambient occlusion. I still probably need to play with both maps.

Tom in Progress!




I started working on Tom in Zbrush. I am a little stuck on what detail I want to put on him. I started to texture him in Max as well. However, I saw a lot of problems in the model and now I have to restart my Zbrush file with him. It's ok because I didn't go far with him in ZBrush.

Morrison Character


Here is my highpoly I going to this week retopologize my mesh this week and lay out the uvs I'm pretty much done right now with the highpoly.

Armor UVs



Last week I finally got my UVs laid out in a way that I was happy with. I applied the checker map to see where there might be some problems. I see that the helmet has some seem issues that I could probably work around.

Enchanted Armor





I am working on this living armor concept for my other class with Lynn. The basic idea is a medieval suit of armor with somewhat of an Egyptian cat motif, that moves around on it's own to protect temples and whatnot. I will be expanding on the idea in this class by adding a spirit within the armor that will be visible. I'm trying to work out the shader that I'm going to use to accomplish this, and shown is the shader that I am working on applied to the armor itself. The shader will actually be applied to a mesh within the armor in the end, and not the armor itself.

Here is my work flow I started with a sketch, then concepted the first one in one setting. That was at the begging of the semester (I thought this was due with the world concepts). So then over the weekend I wanted to revisit my piece and try to improve it and thats where the second concept comes from.
